General Operative / Hostel Warden 

  • Average hours per week: 15
  • Hourly Rate: Minimum wage €9.15
  • Reception of hostel guests
  • Dealing with bookings online reservations, email, phone and in person
  • Allocating rooms and handing out keys
  • Completion of reservation sheets and taking payments
  • Preparation of hostel bedrooms for guests
  • Laundering of hostel bed linen
  • Key holder responsible for the security of the building
  • Duties include: Residential warden, general cleaning throughout the building, to ensure a high standard of cleanliness
  • Setting up for room hire and any other duties relevant to the position, as directed by the Manager
  • Previous experience not necessary, but would be an advantage

Cleaning Operative / Maternity Cover
 
• Hours per week: 19.5
• Monday – Thursday 9.30 am – 1.30 pm
• Friday 9.30 am – 1.00pm
• Hourly Rate: Minimum wage €9.15
• Duties include: General cleaning throughout the building, servicing rooms in hostel accommodation, ensure high standard of cleanliness, set up for catering and any other duties relevant to the position, as directed by the Manager
• Previous experience not necessary, but would be an advantage

Workshops include confidence building by Emma Porter, Reflexology by Siobhan Monaghan and Angel Healing by Genevieve.

What we ask for is each woman to bring a donation of food to share among attendees and a donation of monies towards a local charity
